DISNEYLAND

DISNEYLAND

"Well, it took many years. I started with many ideas, threw them away, started all over again. And eventually it evolved into what you see today at Disneyland.” - Walt Disney

From twirling teacups to submarines searching for Nemo, Disneyland is overflowing with magic.

This past November I embarked on my third trip to Disneyland. I was in California for six days and five out of those days were spent frolicking around the parks from open to close.

During this time I was able to truly get acquainted with and grow in my admiration for both Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure.

Here you'll find just a few of my favorite snacks, shows, and attractions. Of course, I recommend doing every single thing the parks have to offer, however, this may be helpful if you only have a day or so to wander.

Unfortunately, some of these attractions may not be available if you visit after the Diamond Celebration is over or after Mad Tea Party Dance Party has left. Personally, I am very disappointed to see such great things go, nevertheless, I'm sure they will be replaced by something even more spectacular.

From the East Coast to the West Coast, Disney magic is SO real.

Happy 60th Anniversary Disneyland! You are better than diamonds.

TREEHOUSE SLUMBERS IN SAVANNAH

One of my sweetest friends surprised me with a little road trip to Savannah, GA, for my nineteenth birthday. We stayed at the dreamiest airbnb super close to downtown. It included the top room of this incredibly eclectic house and also access to the completely outdoor treehouse. Obviously, we stayed in the treehouse.

We explored Savannah a bit and found some super neat spots, however the house we stayed in was definitely the biggest attraction.

A WEEK IN CHICAGO

Last July I packed up my hot pink carry on and headed straight to Chicago. This city is filled with vibrance and kind people, not to mention, the incredible coffee shops on every corner.

One of the highlights of my week was dancing around Lollapalooza. This is a four-day music festival that takes place in Grant Park. Lolla is an especially good time because not only do they have the best music lineup, but they also have an art market, photo spots, and some of Chicago's best eats to fuel you up between shows.
